if I close out Xpadder completely, the behavior stops. Of course then, I lose left-clicking anything with the adaptive controller as well.

This is a weird bug. Occasionally, depending on the particular window (e.g. Windows your phone app) and while using Microsoft Adaptive controller, Left clicking (button 2) will launch Windows Settings—> Languages. I'm not sure why it's doing it and it's not consistent, so I don't think it's intentio...
