I want to program a set on an Xbox controller to use it as an alpha-numeric keyboard. (i.e. one button can choose an output of 4 or 5 different letters depending on how many times it is pressed in a short space of time)

Cousld anyone give me advise on how to implement this??

I've got a very simple sequence on one button on my controller.

1, Cycle Stop, 2, Cycle Stop, 3, Cycle Stop, 4, Cycle Stop, 5, Cycle Stop.

Is there a way for me to reset the sequence back to the beginning using another button?

Great. It seems to be working as long as I avoid closing it via task manager.
If I force shut-down (ie. holding down the "on" button) will I lose preferences??

It's saved in a file in my documents... I did read somewhere that it won't work under program files as it's then read only... But I don't think this is the case here.

UPDATE:
it's definitely not read-only as I've now checked that in the .exe file's properties panel.

Hi, I've been using Xpadder for a massive 1 day now and I spent a lot of time setting up auto profiles (a great feature!).
