How do i get my 360 controller to show up as a gamepad?
I'm running Windows 7. I also installed the Microsoft Gamepad Driver (Xbox360_64Eng.exe)
Is there a way to get the controller to show up as a gamepad?
Xbox 360 (wired version) isn't recognized by windows 7 (or Xpadder)

but Xpadder can "see" the controller is connected. My computer isn't showing any controllers connected. It will for the PS3, but not the Xbox controller. And when I try the PS3 controller, using any of the buttons doesn't work. (no function, not even recognizing im moving the analog sticks)

The PS3pad won't work with Windows as long as you don't install a proper driver preferably Motioninjoy, so for it this expected behavior.
What do the LED's on the Xbox360pad show when it is connected?

The topic says you have a wired 360 controller. You aren't using a wireless controller with Charge & Play kit. It won't work without the wireless receiver.
