How to unload profile when game quits?

Post by psykix »

I seem to have everything working, and have AutoProfile enabled for Minecraft.

It loads my profile when Minecraft starts and that's fine, however it keeps the profile loaded after quitting Minecraft which then causes problems with Steam.

How do I get it to "unload" the profile when I exit Minecraft?

Cheers..

One would expect that with <None> <Default> activated that it would fall back to a blank profile when an application closes. However, <None> seems to mean "take no action". An existing profile must be specified to fall back to when no other programs are running.

Set the Autoprofile entry to your preferred default profile for the <Default> entry.

For example; If you wanted to remove all keybindings create a blank profile and save it as "blank".

Then set the Autoprofile entry to read "blank <Default>".

When the other applications end the blank profile should load.

That makes sense, thanks for the reply.

I'll give it a whirl later :-)

I would like to expand on this topic...

Is it possible to activate a set, <Default> profile when a process is no longer in focus. Say, I have a profile for a program that runs in a window and if that window no longer has focus the default profile will activate until another AutoProfile profile is triggered. Is this possible? I'm not quite sure.
