No mouse emulation in Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit

Post by MaxiM »

Hello there Xpadders.

I have encountered a problem with Xpadder after switching to Win7. First of all it didn't worked, but I downloaded a new version and it works again... with one exception: I can assign mouse movement to whatever button/stick on whatever controller I own, but the mouse cursor remains... well, dead. Green lights in Xpadder are showing allright, it just doesn't move the mouse at all. Not only mouse movement doesn't work, but also scroll and buttons! I'm stumped. It always worked like a charm and now when I have finally figured out how to configure Xpadder with Anarchy Online to emulate gamepad's functionality from Lineage II it just doesn't let me do it.
This is a BIG issue. Any ideas :?:

If you have switched to Win7 from XP then you may be encountering a UAC problem. Primal Fear wrote a great article. If this doesn't help feel free to post back.

Heh, I really don't know why I didn't tried that. That's the 1st thing I do if an application doesn't work as intended under Win7 :P
Thanks, it works now.
