Xpadder mouse wheel left and right problem

Post by mexced »

i'am using Xpadder also with Photoshop for moving a photo in all directions.
Mouse wheel Up and down works fine with my Piranha Xtreme joystick. But the mouse wheel
left en right buttons don't work, there is no responds in Photoshop.
Has somebody an idea why the don't work? All axis are detected in settings.

I know this problem from some programs too. They simply seem not to support vertical scrolling via mouse wheel tilt or a touchpad (so what Xpadder is emulating). The only working alternative is assigning the arrow keys, although they doesn't work always that way.

If you are using Windows XP then Xpadder cannot simulate a mouse wheel tilt. This advanced mouse wheel simulation was not available in XP.

Try shrinking your browser window or notepad with some text in it so a horizontal scrollbar appears.
If Xpadder can emulate a mouse wheel tilt there then the problem is definitely Photoshop. As Primal said above, arrow keys are the best possibility.
Another idea could be using the drag tool somehow so you can move around via the stick.
