xbox 360 contoller to vista x64

After I install the software the looking glass just goes in circles something isnt working or loading please help. I also have a ps3 controller and im unable to get xpadder to work with that. can somone please help me.

On the xbox controller im using the plug and play charge i guess i wont use that controller. im able to see the ps3 driver but xpadder wont setup the controller it sees it but nothing

Do you your controller connected and drivers installed? If you click on the animated icon the Windows game controllers control panel will open. It will list all controllers currently connected. If you are using a wireless xbox360 controller you must have the wireless gaming receiver istalled. The Play & Charge cable will not work.

The ps3 controller shows up in the game controller control panel then? Has the animated icon disappeared in the main Xpadder window?

yes im able to see the ps3 controller but when i go to configure the controller nothing works no movement or buttons

So when you try to create a controller layout, in the stick section, you click the enable check box- does the the stick detecting circle show up? If so it will not register your stick movement?

correct everything shows up but will not register stick movement

in fact* the lights blink on the controller then it turns off

If you click on the tab above the controller name box on the main Xpadder window, the Xpadders controller properties window will open. It has graphs that represents the raw data being sent by windows and read by Xpadder. Does the graphs change when you move the sticks and push the buttons on the controller? If not, there is a button on the controller properties window that will open the windows game controller control panel. There click the properties button for that controller. The properties page should have a test tab. Does input show up there?

yes i can see the inputinfo but nothing moves i also went into the test tab in control panel nothing moves

Sounds like a driver problem since it does register movement in the game controllers properties test page. Have you been able to use it in any games with native controller support? I don't know what driver procedure you are using for the ps3 controller. I now some require you to run a utility each time you use it to "pair it" to the driver.
