Rumble - Mass Effect 3

Post by mike.c.smith »

Hi,

I'm currently using xpadder with Mass Effect 3 and it's working perfectly except for one small problem - I can't get rumble to work when the game is loaded. It does work perfectly when in Windows though. Anyone else having this problem and does anyone have a fix for it?

I should add that I've edited my Mass Effect 3 coalesced.bin to enable native analog support for the two sticks but I'm using xpadder to map all of the buttons. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Mike

If a game is using the controller, it will block the access to the rumble for Xpadder. There is no way to workaround that, except of disabling the native controller support of the game.

Ahh, thanks for the heads up. I was reading the BF3 thread further down this page and saw something similar. ME3 is hijacking the xinput channel for the Rumble right?

Cheers,

Yes, like in Battlefield 3. I have also tested this in two other games with native controller support.
