NES Controller and Download Issues

Post by danny.rosato »

I have an NES controller made for a USB port - so I can use it on my laptop.

I just purchased the xpadder program with the intent of syncing it with my Windows 7 (operating system) and the NES controller designed for the USB port. I have a basic Dell Inspiron laptop and use Firefox/Mozilla as my primary browser.

Can you help? This is a bit beyond my capacities.

I have the program downloaded
I have created the button layout for the NES controller

That's all I have so far.

This is the website I want to play games on.

Any help would be most appreciated.

You need to create a profile where you assign the necessary keyboard input for game to the controller button. It needs to be loaded and Xpadder needs to run in background while you are playing the game. That should be all.

Thank you for the help primal. I went in and followed as you instructed.

What do you mean by "it needs to be loaded"... Sorry man, not trying to be a dunce. I just not the technical type.

What would be the specific instructions for loading it? And while I am in the question mode, how do I get Xpadder to run in the background as you suggested?

Thanks. And again my apologies for asking what many would consider elementary questions...
