Cannot install Xpadder

When I click on the installer .exe, windows says it is not a Microsoft verified app. As usual I click "install anyway". But when I click the button...absolutely nothing happens...any suggestions? Please tell me I didn't just get swindled out of $10

Xpadder.exe is the direct program and not a traditional installer.
Once it runs it should immediately display a welcome screen and Xpadder should appear on the taskbar with its smiley controller logo.
If this does not happen then it is possible that another security program is blocking Xpadder from running.
