Help with 360 gamepad

Hello I just downloaded xpadder for the first time and I am having a problem. I mapped some buttons around but when i press a button it does both the action I wanted and the one that was originaly mapped there before. So I jump and turn on a flashlight or reload and punch at the same time. How can I fix this? Thank you

What game are you trying to play? Also check and see if the game has built in controller detection...
disable the game controller detection... Then your Xpadder config should work..

You may also try to just load the game with your controller unplugged. Then after the game has loaded, plug the controller back in.
What this does is sets the game controller setting to the keyboard and mouse routine.. It doesn't enable the
controller...

So now by doing this you are able to use your Xpadder config for the game...
