Mass Effect Help

Post by TonyTheWookie »

Ok, so I have got everything working just fine, no problems at all. I got the controler set up and I can use it the move around my browser and everything. If I hit the joystick right now I get wdadasadawdass which is exactly what I want to happen.

Then, as soon as I load up Mass Effect the controler just simply doesn't do anything anymore, I can't move the cursor or anything.

I usually have no problems fixing my own problems, but I just have absolutly no idea what is wrong. Before I load up Mass Effect everything is working, and as soon as I load up Mass Effect the contorler is gone, but the keyboard and mouse still work.

It just doesn't make sense...

I am running Windows 7, and the steam download of Mass Effect (not 2)

I am using a 360 controler if it makes a difference

Nevermind, I figured out it will work as long as a hit "run as administrator" when I load up Xpadder.

Thanks for sharing your solution.
It's a very common problem.

I have now pencilled in auto-admin for v5.9 to automatically elevate Xpadder processes during Xpadder runtime if and when the active window requires it.
