Controllers outputting Custsom keys?

Is there any way for a controller to be set to output custom characters? I have a problem, in which I am trying to have a PS3 controller output the keys that a 360 controller would normally output (EX: LB, RB.), when you would connect it to a game that supports the 360 controller. Any solutions? I am sorry if I am not clear enough.

You will need to find an XInput emulator. Xpadder does not do this.

You can use Xpadder to play games that take keyboard and mouse input.
