I am not sure, but I think you need to tell us what controller you have, since they are not all the same.

Anyway, I made one that works for my Logitech Chillstream. (I did not bother setting any button as 'Q' - drop the item you're holding.)
It works pretty well, but I don't recommend fighting any bosses with the controller. :P
I also made the mouse button 1 turbo, so mining stuff should be a lot more ergonomic than using a mouse.

Here's the profile:

Code: Select all

The ChillStream profile should also work for the 360pad, as both are Xinput controllers.

Just to compare them, this is how it looks on the Xbox360pad.

Peter, do all buttons match like you have configured them? The Dpad, sticks and triggers will match anyways.

Hey cool! I can do a terraria one for you.
I did one for terraria + Pinnacle profiler, It worked really, really good!

I will convert it over to Xpadder when I get a chance :)

It works really good, I use a mouse spring so that the cursor does not ever get out of your players reach. Then I use the D-hat for regular mouse movement so you can use menus, and tweak the inventory

So I'm guessing this won't happen some years later. Terraria on console is actually pretty intuitive controls-wise, but it's missing the 1.2+ content as of right now. So I'd love a decent profile for it.

Any word on this? I'm making a profile for a PS4 controller that's similar to the PS3 game. I'm not that good at Set selection though.
