Jekyll&Hyde (X360)

Post by Primal Fear »

In opposite to the native controller support this profile makes it possible to move the camera with the right stick and to attack with the right trigger. As you can see in the screenshot you can invert the right stick using the Dpad.

[Important]Open the controller configuration from the autostart and load the config "Keyboard.sfg". Also make sure that "Use joystick for movement" is activated.[Important]

Thanks for the effort!!

Is there a way to switch from walk to run button? Or just make it less sensitive?

P.S. Off-Topic Question: I know the 360 controller is the most popular, but is there a "better" controller than the 360 out there? What's your opinion?

I have used the native controller support for the left stick. With the keyboard (arrow keys via Xpadder) would be only running possible since there is no modifier key for walk. The config files also doesn't seem to have any entry for the stick sensitivity. So this is best possibility I can find.

There are some controllers out there that have nice gadgets and are also fully Xbox360 compatible. The only problem with them, all of them are only wired. Also none of them is good enough to convince me to pay money for it as long as I have a wired 360pad.

You should take a look on these controllers:
Razer Onza/Onza Tournament Edition
Cyborg V.5 Rumble Pad (a little bit larger than the 360 pad)
Mad Catz CoD Black Ops PrecisionAIM Controller (higher trigger resistance, so not that good for racing games)

There is also this new Xbox360 Controller that has an improved Dpad and better analog stick surfaces, but it only makes sense if you already a wireless receiver.
