Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Jedi Knight 2 Profiles (X360/ PS3)

Post by lolmaniac621 »

Hello. This is my first attempt at creating fancy profiles for games. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. I hope this works for you and don't hesitate to ask any questions.

1. Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast I do not know if this works with Jedi Academy
I think this is probably the better of the two. Anyway, I have it set up to closely mirror the original Xbox controls, although I've made a few personal tweaks. Notes: I recommend upping mouse sensitivity, and turning on mouse smoothing in the options menu. POV toggles between 1st and 3rd person views. LB (I think, I use a PS3 controller) is set to change lightsaber stance on tap. If you hold it and press A or X, it will quicksave the game. Here it is:

2. Battlefront 2 I do not know if this works with Battlefront 1
I had a rough time getting this one working well for both Land and Space. I designed this with 3rd person view, as that is my preferred playing style, I don't think it should differ much from 1st, however. Aside from flying, It should be nearly identical to PS2/ Xbox. Notes: I have Y/ Triangle set to switch the controls to a set more suited to flying. This is not foolproof, as it will also switch it when attempting to use a ground vehicle or turret. Therefore, I also have set D-Pad Up to switch so you can manually switch it back--with rumble on both to remind you it has switched. Take note that flying using this set is still extremely difficult because unless you carefully control the sticks, as you do tricks constantly. I recommend you destroy the capital ships from the inside for easiness. Here it is:

I tried to do in-game mappings for BF2 before, and gave up because it's impossible to do without a utility like Xpadder.
At one point I was going to profile it for Xpadder until the challenge overwhelmed me.
I'll try yours out and see if I can't improve on it.

Your efforts are appreciated.
