If the double tap of a direction is causing something different like dash, roll or sprint this happens sometimes when starting to move the stick into a direction. I'm 100% sure why, but I suppose that the reasons is simply a slight quiver of the thumb exactly at the boundary of the Dead Zone.
This should fix it:

I have added release zone to the left stick that adds a button press of the respective direction button of 0.30s if the respective stick direction was hold for less than 0.30s, so the game should interpret every movement of the stick as held and never as tapped. I'm pretty that you won't feel any difference, but the roll shouldn't be triggered anymore accidentally. The problem with that is that the roll wouldn't be possible anymore, for that I would need a free button for a set selector that basically changes the function of the left stick from only move to only roll.
